School places for September 2026 admissions will be announced for primary schools in April 2026.
Applying for a Reception Class Place Important Dates
Monday 1 September 2025 – Applications open
Thursday 16 January 2026 – National closing date for primary applications (statutory).
Thursday 16 April 2026 – Offers issued to parents
Due to the number of applications we receive, we can’t provide updates on your application between the closing date and your official offer. Don’t worry though, if there is a problem with your application we will contact you.
If you are unhappy with the outcome of your application you can find out about the appeals process.
Your appeal should be submitted using the link below within twenty days of refusal of admission. The appeal provides you with an opportunity to explain why you wish to register your child at our school. The appeal forms and advice on how to complete them is available on the Lancashire County Council website:
