Welcome Statement

Welcome to Holland Moor Primary School

Our school is a vibrant, nurturing place where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, curiosity and creativity. Set within generous, open playing fields, the school offers children the freedom to learn, play and explore in a safe, inspiring environment where outdoor learning and physical activity are a natural part of everyday life.
The main school building provides the reassurance of secure, dedicated class bases, while also offering a rich variety of specialist learning spaces that spark imagination and deepen understanding. Purpose-designed areas for Art and Craft, Design and Technology, Science, Music and Drama allow children to discover and develop their talents, while an extensive Exhibition Area celebrates their achievements and creativity. A welcoming Library, a well-equipped Computing Suite and a range of thoughtfully planned resource areas further support learning across the curriculum.
At the heart of the school is a spacious hall, alive with activity throughout the day. This flexible space is used for dining, assemblies, physical education, games, dance and drama, as well as a wide range of clubs and community events, including much-loved school discos. It is a place where children come together, friendships are strengthened and memories are made.
Alongside the main school sits our Nursery and Reception building, which caters for children from the age of two through the Early Years and Foundation Stage. This beautiful, purpose-built space has been carefully designed with our youngest learners in mind, offering a calm, welcoming and stimulating environment. Nursery provision is available on both a part-time and full-time basis, ensuring flexibility for families while delivering the highest standard of care and early education.
Together, these spaces create a warm, inclusive school where every child is known, valued and supported — a place where children feel happy, secure and excited to learn, and where they are given every opportunity to thrive.
